Santa Jac Grimes is a lifelong resident of Guilford County and currently lives in the Tay Ho District of Hanoi City, Vietnam with his wife Liz. They  celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this year in June. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas and has served as National Chairman of the Board. 

 

In addition to his professional Santa work, Santa Jac has donated his time as Santa to multiple community events in and around Greensboro, NC.

 

He is Santa for the Fox 8 Holiday Concerts, Thomasville Tree Lighting and appeared in both the Thomasville and Greensboro Christmas Parades and is Santa for the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade in Charlotte.

 

From 2007 to 2019 on Christmas Eve he and Mrs. Claus went to Women's Hospital for Baby's first Santa Photo. Unfortunately the Pandemic cancelled that event in 20 and 21. 

He holds an Advanced Masters Degree of Santa Clausology from the International University of Santa Claus in Riverside California and has been portraying the Jolly ol' Elf since 2006. Santa Jac Grimes is a Real Bearded Santa 365 days a year.

In 2018 Santa Jac was inducted into the International Santa Claus Hall of Fame for his continued work with the families of North Carolina.
